It was my first year at SEMA and there were some things I liked, some things I tolerated and many things that instilled shock. Included in post are some of the likes (there are many more), the entire gallery is linked.

I mean, i knew the C7 aped the Ferrari F12, but i didn't realize just how much it does so until those two photos.

OwO I've seen the fall line R8 in person and it is sexy racing around IMS

Considering that they were both designed years ago, under secrecy, there was no aping.

C7 in that white/pearl paint. -fans self- Lord have mercy. I think I might need to rethink "Vettes Only in Red" national mandate.

You can't expect everyone to understand how car development works.

Fine. But I stand by my point: In those photographs those two cars look remarkably similar.

My thoughts exactly. I wish someone sponsored me to go take pictures at international auto shows.

Pshaw. Pretty sure designing a car is basically the same as working on photoshop. Select photo, copy paste, then clean it up a little bit.
In all seriousness though, my comment was much less about "copying" and much more about "Holy shit, those cars look similar when seen from that angle in that lighting" Especially at SEMA, where you expect cars to have non-stock wheels/body kits etc.
